Cubes is something completly different from my previous designes. Inspired by movie TRON I created dark, innovative environment containing only cubes with neons. By scaling, moving and rotating these models I managed to create an enjoyable design with very intense gameplay. Hide behind the box!

This design offered me the most freedom in terms of layout. Firstly I was placing the huge cubes, then smaller and finally I randomly situated the smallest ones around bigger, serving as a hiding spot or as a step allowing easy access to the bigger ones.

Map serves for FFA mode, where everyone fights everyone. I had to diversify layout and expand it in height to let players gather strength before attack. Map has good flow, that meaning you can easily traverse it without stopping or making any kind of consious decisions.
